87/366 [Finally]

After three long, hot weeks the temperature finally took a dive. A cold front rolled in, bringing masses of grey cloud and a full night of thunderstorms two nights ago. It rained most of yesterday and again today came the wonderful sound of water running in the roof gutters, spattering on the windows and swishing onto the concrete. And most importantly, running into our water tank. I could almost hear the stressed garden plants breathe a sigh of relief.
