Night Lights

Many years ago, in a very different time of life, there was no such thing as dining out on the footpath. And given that the temperature tonight was close to freezing, not quite sure that it always makes sense. But this restaurant was a favourite haunt of ours. After suffering through an evening at the local cycling track we would head to this warm and welcoming Italian restaurant for a big bowl of minestrone with bread made on the premises. Went back for a bit of reminiscence and wasn’t disappointed. Barring the tables outside, it was as if we had entered a time warp back our last visit in the early seventies. Even the menu was the same.
