194/366 [And the wheels on the bike go…]

The racing bike has been an integral part of our household as the senior member has been a passionate cyclist since he was old enough to defy his mother and buy his first racing bike. And of course, at this moment, he is committed to staying up way past the witching hour to watch the wonderful spectacle that is the Tour de France. The last two years has had added excitement as a close friend has been a member of a team which has seen me standing by the telly jumping up and down at 2 o’clock in the morning cheering him to second in a stage placing. This year he competed in the Giro d’Italia and is having a well earned rest.
So we have had to make do with just knowing one of the commentators.
