199/366 [Distant city]

Down on ground level I’m surrounded by a busy car park and endless lines of people with trolleys shuttling between the shops and their vehicle. Or immaculately dressed women heading to one of the many coffee shops. Harried mums with strollers. Businessmen striding purposefully to or from work. School children in one of the many private school uniforms racing to the station. But up here, through the bare winter trees, I realise just how close I am to the city. And how glad I am that I here and not there.
