221/366 [Duck season]

I am not an expert on Australian birds so this may, or may not be, a female wood duck. Every year, around about the beginning of August a pair of wood ducks can be found bobbing about in our pool. And, every year, the female lays her eggs somewhere safe in the pool garden and before long we have the cutest little ducklings getting stuck in the spa when the water level drops. I understand that this breed are monogamous and return to the same place to breed each year. They obviously like it here. Might be something to do with the stale bread they get each morning from the so called anti-pet person at Villa Kore. Not that he knows the rest of us have seen him doing it.
